Safe stay at McMenamins

Liked: The staff was very informative and kind to speak with. The room was cozy and the bathroom was clean.
Disliked: I don't think there was AC in the room so it was a bit warm. Also I didn't see an elevator but I didn't walk around to look for one either.

Don’t expect much

Liked: The history and the building. Walkable distance to most things downtown.
Disliked: Staff didn’t seem to like their jobs.. not very friendly. Had to go find someone in the bar/ restaurant part yo check out.. Went to eat dinner there and were told to sit anywhere empty and we did, and were told to move by a rude staff member who said it’s for the people playing pool.. no one was sitting there.

This was a great hotel...

Liked: Checking in was easy and friendly. Our room was cute and clean. Bathrooms were clean and ours was right across the hall. I loved the coffee station being a few feet away from my door!
Disliked: My only issue was very minor and maybe a "me " thing
