Stacey, Saegertown, visiting Mr. Small's Funhouse

A fine hotel if you want to see a show at Mr. Smalls. Easy to get to Millvale from this location. Good coffee. Nice breakfast in the morning.

Disappointing

Liked: It was small quiet and looked clean, there were towels and a fridge
Disliked: It's old, the building and the room looked very old, walls are peeling off, at 9 am there was loud constructions in the building. No soap available.

Easy in and out of...

Liked: Guys at desk were nice, lobby was clean in an good condition... then we go downhill. The hallway to the room smelt musty, then a nice section of wall, ceiling and baseboard were falling apart from water damage, could see and smell the black mold. That happens to be the outside wall of my room. The bathroom had the same issues, falling down wall papers and molds. Tile grout was showing the same black stuff. The bed felt almost as good as the floor, just with more bumps. Strange noises all night too, noisy neighbors and possible critters in the wall/ceiling areas of the bathroom. Gross, but it was too late to go see about another room.

From a Hampton Inn property...

Liked: Front desk staff was very nice
Disliked: Room A/C has had a leak for a while- walking around with bare feet I discovered the carpet was wet about 5 feet out into the room. They couldn’t move us as the hotel was full that night. My concern was the possibility of mold. The highway outside was having construction done so it was hard to leave the hotel and have to go in one direction until you get around the barriers to go the other way. And the pool was closed- I didn’t even see a pool.

Was disappointed that paid to...

Liked: Location
Disliked: It was under construction so room door was falling off the hinges. The shower didn’t work. The AC wasn’t working and smell musty. The pool wasn’t open due to construction also. They had bag breakfast but other than water there wasn’t much in the bag.
