Marriott Orlando Downtown, Orlando

The hotel was very convenient to the new Amway Center; though it is about a four block walk it was still preferable to the traffic. For the Bob Carr Center, it's right across the street. I would definitely stay here again for a concert and recommend the Sheraton to others attending concerts.

Liked: Well appointed, clean rooms. Staff very friendly.
Disliked: Valet parking was overwhelmed with people checking in and congested the lobby entrance.

Liked: Great location, easy parking, and convenient breakfast option with Starbucks in the lobby. Room was comfortable and quiet.
Disliked: There was some mildew on the window frames which is not uncommon for the climate but could have been cleaned a little better.

Good enough place for price

Liked: The location, one of the staff members. The area where it is located is pretty calm and nice to be, compared to the actual downtown area. Lobby was nice area to be and good lightling. Rooms are pretty spacious and the AC works well. The price is pretty affordable for to the location area. The bed was comfortable.
Disliked: Rooms are a bit outdated, one of the staff wouldn't actually engage or explain while check-in about the holding. About the outdated rooms, it still has tubs, the bathroom had cracks in certain areas. Room didn't smell nice. Lobby had chairs with stains marks.

Liked: The location was downtown close to the stadium. The breakfast was good enough, included in the price in my case.
Disliked: It was pricey for the copa america but it's ok I guess.

Comfortable and convenient

Liked: We chose this hotel because of the proximity to the Kia Center - as we were attending a concert at this venue. The room was clean and comfortable enough for our 1 night stay without needing to request any additional accommodations. The staff were friendly and professional.
Disliked: My only negative experience was the parking arrangement. We had two options; pay for valet parking, or pay slightly less to park our own vehicle in the hotel parking lot. Luckily we were able to snag the last parking spot in the "pay by plate" lot. At a nightly rate of $280 or more I think parking should be included. Also the parking situation is not advertised when booking your stay.
