Good choice for Haltwhistle.

Liked: Breakfast and dinner were good - menu choices and service. Room was comfortable. Overall service was good.

Liked: Clean, comfortable bed nice bathroom. Pleasant staff. Good breakfast.
Disliked: Charged £20 for our dog. The cost of the room was only £70 so and extra £20 was a hefty increase in the cost of the room. It was unexpected. When I returned I checked Booking.com I had to search for charges for dog. When I found the pet policy it just said extra charges may apply. Manor House and Booking.com should make sure it is plain to see when booking the room.

Liked: Very comfortable bed, quiet. Helpful regards leaving our bikes in a secure place. Good breakfast. Nice staff.
Disliked: Television not tuned in, didn't work. No hot water in the shower. Bath good. Toilet roll holder broken. Place a bit souless.

Clean accommodation, poor food.

Liked: The property was in a good location in the centre of the town. The rooms were very clean. The staff were pleasant.
Disliked: We ate in the restaurant in the evening and two out of three people were disappointed with their meals. The full English breakfast was good however, the eggs benedict was poor. The bed in room 10 was very uncomfortable and appeared to have a cheap mattress resulting in a poor night’s sleep.

Liked: The room was comfortable and the evening meal and breakfast were both very good. Free parking right outside the hotel was very welcome.
Disliked: The hotel provided everyting we needed for our stay.
