Malmaison Birmingham

Liked: Large, clean room which was ready when we arrived so we were able to check in early. Great position - near the railway, the Utilita Arena and the canal.

Staff very courteous; hotel was central to train station, city centre and to Birmingham Symphony Hall; would use again ; best wishes to all the staff .

Liked: Very central; very comfortable bed.

room was smelly breakfast was the worst iv ever had and the waitress made a pass at me.

Disliked: terrible

Excellent location, decent experience love...

Liked: Excellent location next to the mailbox, near the bull ring and some good bars.
Disliked: Felt a little second class having booked through booking but I understand business.

Exceptional

Fantastic location and great staff

Liked: It is in a great spot, central for everything in the city centre. But it is alsi in a nice spot being attached to the mailbox where there are some decent restuarants and bars.
Disliked: I feel its a touch tired, i used to stay here when it first opened and it had the wow factor. Now its lost is sparkle. The bar area ised to be a real destination place in birmingham now it just look tacky.

Nice, modern hotel

Liked: Comfortable, modern rooms.Good location. Very clean.
Disliked: Cost us £27 to park overnight, I feel this should be included when staying over.

Enjoyed my stay at Malmaison

Liked: The thing I like most is the signature scent throughout the hotel. Also the bright and quirky decor and dim lighting.Bed was comfy and room was spotless.Really enjoyed my time at Malmaison as per usual.
Disliked: Air conditioning could be better.Late night room service was great, but food ordered from the late night room service menu wasn't very good.
