Liked: Large, clean room which was ready when we arrived so we were able to check in early. Great position - near the railway, the Utilita Arena and the canal.

Staff very courteous; hotel was central to train station, city centre and to Birmingham Symphony Hall; would use again ; best wishes to all the staff .

Disliked: Room was very warm and air con not doing enough to cool the room through the night (also unable to open a window doesn’t help on a very hot day)

Liked: We stayed over for one night a special birthday surprise staff on check in upgraded our room with compliments & they was so very happy. The club room was amazing spotless clean. The bar staff were happy & wonderful too serving us cocktails. The breakfast was 10/10I highly recommended staying here a great central location too. We will be back. Thank you for making my birthday extra special.

Disliked: Breakfast was good.Only exception was if you arrived 20minutes before end it would be rushed as items would be taken away as soon as 10.00 struck and coffee machine would be cleaned etc.Spa facilities open at 10.00 with checkout 11.00Once again a rushed experience if only it opened earlier say 8.00amRestaurant meal was very good.Only exception was you were offered bread and olives as if it was complimentary.Extra cost, did not complain, but other customers may.
