Alright for one night
Liked: Easy check-in process, room is reasonable size for London, hotel is very close to the train station and easy to go to the Wembley Stadium.
Disliked: We requested a few bottles of water from the reception and told that it is there for private use and not for the customers. Also, the room stinks of cigarettes. Bathroom was not very clean and the toilet leaked.

Nice room but choose a...
Liked: The room was a good size, very clean, bed was comfortable as were the pillows. The shower was big and easy to get the correct temperature.
Disliked: I knew the room had no windows which was ok. However I did not realise that there was no elevator and that meant I had to carry my luggage to my room down many stairs, which was quite difficult travelling on my own. There was no staff available to assist me.

Liked: The air conditioning was very effective on 34C days in London. The location is on the busy A5 road but the reception staff were so helpful when I requested a quiet room. I had a beautiful view over the treetops of Maida Vale and peace and quiet on the 3rd floor. The room was sound proof to outside noise. The bed and pillows were very comfortable too.The hairdryer worked well.
Disliked: It took a while to work out the shower handles to operate the rain shower/hand spray, and temperature adjustments. There were no instructions for the air con/heating but the receptionist came up and explained it to me. There is no fridge to keep drinks or food cold.

Very poor
Liked: The location was great, just 1 minute walk from the Lioness line which allowed direct access to Wembley Stadium
Disliked: We booked a twin room and when turning up they only had one twin room left, down in the basement. We either had to have this or share a bed so we took the twin room. We then were told that we couldn't have a keycard to the room, this room had to be locked and unlocked with the master key, which is annoying but whatever (I guess the keycard lock was broken on this room).Upon entering the room you were greeted with a sickly sweet smell of air freshener covering the smell of the damp mouldy bathroom. All the bedding also felt damp and cold due to it being an unventilated basement room. When we went into the bathroom the light didn't work properly, giving a strobing effect. But the biggest issue was the damp and mould in the bathroom. Massive patches on the ceiling, it seems a mix of no ventilation and a leak from the room above, as in the morning when upstairs was showering we could hear a really loud dripping in the ceiling of our room that woke us up.Due to this being the last Twin Room available there wasn't much we could do and had to stay the night in the room. Luckily we were only there one night, I dont think my lungs could have taken a second night.
