My stay here was very comfortable - the decorations of the lobby was beautiful! My room was a bit small but comfortable enough for two people; the bed was nice and comfortable to sleep in as well. The only thing I didn't get to see was the view from the rooftop hotel :( If they could stay open until 12 midnight it would be nice. I was at a Tegan and Sara concert so I got back to my room hoping to see the view but it was locked :( Anyway overall I loved this hotel. All the staff were very friendly! I would recommend people to stay here.

The hotel's cons outweighed the pros for us. HVAC set at 64 and room was just marginally comfortable. No bathroom ventilation. Room was small but nicely decorated. The bed was comfortable. Easy walk to Verizon Wireless Theater. Lobby had an awful smell wafting through it any time that we walked through. Valet parking was $25 per night. Wouldn't recommend this hotel to others.

Liked: Good location if you're attending Verizon Theater
Disliked: HVAC (heating, ventilation, and air conditioning) not great; smelly lobby, valet parking expensive

Convenient location and great service...

Liked: The location of the Magnolia is unbeatable to everything in downtown Houston. We had breakfast in the restaurant in the morning and our waiter was PHENOMENAL.
Disliked: When we arrived it was around 7:30 pm and it had been raining all day. Valet was huddled inside trying to keep warm. I get it, Texas usually doesn’t get this cold. But it would have been nice to not have to get out of my car to go track them down while leaving my car parked on the street.
