I was looking forward to...

Liked: The catered party on site was lovely. The food and service was very nice.
Disliked: I was not allowed access to my room until 4:30, despite a 4:00 check in time. When I explained that this was unacceptable as I had to change and prepare for on on-sight event, it was suggested that I could change in a nearby bathroom. I was then given an access card the pool area to wait for my room to be ready. By the time I finally had my room key, I had very little time to shower and get ready for my event. I was awakened the next morning to a staff member knocking on my door to tell me I had to have the 'do not disturb' note showing on my door in order not to be disturbed! (This was hours before my check out time.) And finally, after I walked down the hallway to put ice in my cup...when I returned to my room (still an hour before check out time) someone had entered my room, open all of the windows, and had gone through the room! I had NOT yet checked out. When I explained my displeasure at the check out desk (yes, I decided to leave after the last experience), the clerk merely asked if I wanted a receipt for my stay. This was not the experienced or response. I had expected.
