Stayed only one night (attended a concert), and was quite impressed. Friendly, helpful staff; top notch, speciality cocktails; mezzanine and roof top seating areas for lounging including a roof top bar with fantastic views of Memphis and the Mighty Mississippi. Impressive and delicious late night room service menu. Walking distance to most attractions, including Mud Island and Beale Street. Room and amenities far exceeded expectations (King Suite). Very nice iPod stereo. Flat screen TV integrated with iPod as well. Highly recommend, especially if it comes discounted, but still worth it at full price.
Liked: King Suite; amenities; lobby; bar; mezzanine; roof top.
Disliked: Nothing.

Great location - Shame some...
Liked: The hotel was in a great location, handy for all attractions - both trolley stops were pretty much outside - but out of the way enough to be quiet.Suite was incredibly spacious.Rooftop bar views were stunning - especially at sunset!
Disliked: Some of the staff really let the hotel down. I know it was off season, but some were downright rude. Don't remember any names, but the bald guy with the beard upstairs in the bar was absolutely shocking - his attitude was appalling. I later found out he was the Bar Manager!!! Unbelievable...........Whilst the young African American lady in the bar was so pleasant and professional - when making cocktails her attention to detail was phenomenal, she was just lovely and so pleasant and attentive to the guests! When I arrived to check in, the Receptionist completely ignored me - for about 5 minutes. I stood there waiting to be acknowledged. I was actually amused - I honestly couldn't believe a person could stand in front of the desk with a massive suitcase and be COMPLETELY ignored!!! She didn't even look at me - never mind smile! I later found out she was the Reception Supervisor. Again, unbelievable....................The rooftop bar was lovely, the views were amazing! However, when it rained, no attempt was made to take in the cushions - so when it stopped, they were still sodden! It also always smelt of old frying oil. Not a pleasant experience.I had issues with my room - a broken light and a broken socket - reported them both on my first night. They were both still broken when I checked out.Cleanliness of the room wasn't great. The windows weren't clean. There were spills on the skirting boards and the carpets were actually pretty disgusting. First time ever in a hotel that I wore flip flops the whole time I was there. The net curtains were ripped and stained. There was a fridge - but it wasn't particularly cold - didn't keep my meds at the temperature I needed. Which was the only reason I'd booked a suite with a fridge.Only one lift worked the whole of my 8 day stay - and one morning that wasn't working either, so I had to walk down 15 floors and so missed my Uber.

Liked: Good location, only a short walk to Beale St and short Uber to Sun Studios and Stax Soul museum. Great view from the rooftop bar.

Excellent room with plenty of...
Liked: I enjoyed the stay. I did not eat.
Disliked: I had a do-not-disturb sign on the door, and someone knocked 30 minutes early on the day of check-out while I was napping before my drive out. It woke me up as I heard the door open but the extra lock caught it.
