Pleasant

Okay hotel for a one...

Liked: Room was a good size to keep pram in.
Disliked: Receptionist was not very personable. Didn't give us any information about hotel facilities unless we asked first. Said room wasn't available until 3pm yet when we saw a housekeeper at 2.45 she said room hadn't been down for cleaning and was ready. Luckily our son had his room so we could use that to look after our grandson. One bulb in bathroom broke and you couldn't control shower temperature as knob broken.

Liked: Clean, big comfortable bed and room.
Disliked: Arrived for breakfast at 9.30am, no fruit or pastries left. Looked like only the scraps left for those that chose to have breakfast later.

We enjoyed the golf but...

Liked: Staff were cheerful ad food was ok but no fresh fruit available
Disliked: Sat at chair for breakfast and when I got up my trousers were wet from the chair so I had to go and change,!

Liked: Reception staff pleasant friendly when booked in..Bags were took to our room for arrival back from a wedding we were attending.Main building very presentable.
Disliked: Bathroom was below average as with cleanliness.Shower very tatty and rusty by door.Breakfast biggest disappointment staff were friendly but food was poor...cooked breakfast swimming in fat and bacon only just cooked.

First time Stay

Liked: Clean towels every day,staff greeted us with good morning when we walked past, room was clean good hot shower, and very pleasant staff .played a round of golf very well kept course ,a young man called Nathan was very helpful in explaining the course layout a good shout out to Nathan ,my wife enjoyed the pool.Offer of an upgrade
Disliked: The hotel looked a little tired ,didn't like the idea of not being able to pay by cash for drinks, etc, and had to pre pay a card.

unexpectedly bad

Liked: The place is nice. There is beautiful nature but that's all. The staff is not ours.
Disliked: The breakfast is not good.
