Pleasant
Liked: Room was a really good size and grateful for the upgrade. Staff were really friendly and helpful and location was ideal for my meetings that were being held closeby.
Disliked: The hotel could do with a make over as everything is very shabby and tired looking. The hotel looks good from the outside and then the extension just did not match the manor house main part.

Relaxing spa weekend
Liked: The spa was nice, I think was just missing a jacuzzi. Staff was nice and polite nice location
Disliked: The towels we got weren't cleaned. Breakfast was ok, nothing special (I had better in other hotels). No coffee machine in the breakfast, just filter coffee which isn't pleasant. Rooms were really outdated, no nice window frames and carpet didn't look so clean. Missing a jacuzzi in the spa area.

Liked: I liked the location and the spa facilities. It was our anniversary and we had a banner and balloons on our bed which was nice. The staff were helpful and super friendly.
Disliked: The bed. The mattress was soft and had a dip in the middle. My back hurt in the morning as a result of the dip.We only had one robe in the wardrobe.

Extremely over priced
Liked: Staff were great
Disliked: The room, the price of the room...£300 for a night, the bathroom was far form comfortable, it was a mobility room so it had bars and handles everywhere, could not lay down in the bath as there was a seat ledge in it. The main building was lovely but the corridor led you to a dated travel inn at the back. £120 would have been a more reasonable rate...£300 did not include breakfast. Very poor value for money.
