Vivienne, Birmingham, visiting Forum Birmingham Tue, 16 August 2022

We stayed at the hotel for 2 nights as we wanted to visit Birmingham as well as attend the show at the Forum. We chose this hotel because of it's location. The facilities were adequate. Unfortunately, we had to use the service lift as the customer lift was out of order. There were enough choices for breakfast, which was included. There was no air conditioning in our room but they provided us with a fan. The staff were helpful and polite. We would stay there again.

Liked: The location of the hotel was perfect.
Disliked: There was no allocated parking for the hotel.

A gem in the heart...

Liked: Right n the centre of Birmingham and close to Broad Street for a lively night out. We loved the old charm of the building with its marble pillars etc. The staff were exceptional especially at breakfast which was top notch.
Disliked: There is nothing not to like here.

Very good

Liked: Room okay, the bed was comfy and there is enough space. The bathroom has a mix of shower-tube. The breakfast was okay, hot plates and a small continental one. The best part was the personnel, really helpful and nice.
Disliked: I am not a big fan of carpets, and the A/C was quite loud. Also, I miss the time when hotel rooms used to have free amenities.

Lovely hotel thanks to the...

Liked: The room was lovely and spacious. The bed was very comfortable. Location was really good and the rooms were very quiet to say it was a city centre stay. Reception staff were very polite and friendly and gave us ideas of place to go and visit which was very helpful. Will definitely return to this hotel next time visit Birmingham.
Disliked: No fridge in the room which was most needed for milk and water to be kept cold. The nespresso machine in the room wasn't working.
