We stayed at the hotel for 2 nights as we wanted to visit Birmingham as well as attend the show at the Forum. We chose this hotel because of it's location. The facilities were adequate. Unfortunately, we had to use the service lift as the customer lift was out of order. There were enough choices for breakfast, which was included. There was no air conditioning in our room but they provided us with a fan. The staff were helpful and polite. We would stay there again.

Liked: The location of the hotel was perfect.
Disliked: There was no allocated parking for the hotel.

Perfect. Comfortable beautiful hotel in...

Liked: Our 3rd stay this year at this lovely classic hotel. Staff are welcoming and friendly. The location is perfectly situated in the centre of town making shopping, eating and drinking giving many options for our stay. The hotel itself is beautiful. The rooms are comfortable with wonderful beds, probably the best we have had for comfort. Breakfast is cooked to order so is always hot and very well presented. Nothing is too much trouble service is always polite and helpful. If you travel by car the Grand Central car park is only minutes away and discounted when staying at the Burlington which is an added bonus. Our parking for 3days/nights was around £34 which is extremely reasonable for city centre parking. All in all again a wonderful stay.

Excellent city break

Liked: The Hotel has a long history and whilst a little tired looking in some areas it still has wonderful features. Its in the city centre and walking distance to everything. The staff are all attentive and welcoming.

Fantastic room, very friendly staff...

Liked: I loved our room, 227, it was a fantastic size and everything we needed.
Disliked: Perhaps the furniture in the reception area could do with cleaning/updating as on first sight this made us worry what the rest of the hotel was going to be like,
