Mabledon Court Hotel

I won't choose this hotel...

Liked: We stayed at the turn of June and July. The heat in the rooms was intense. Fortunately, there were two fans in each room. The service was friendly. A plus for the location.
Disliked: There was no elevator, although it's listed in the listing. I have mobility issues. Two rooms for parents and children were on two different floors! The hotel was undergoing renovations. The noise and mess were bothersome. Breakfast was the same every day. The view from the window during breakfast was awful. A mess.

Somewhat disappointed

Liked: The location is superb. Kings Cross and Euston are five minute walks.
Disliked: The room was way too hot. The culprit: the mini fridge. I had to ask reception to unscrew the fridge and unplug it. It was creating such heat in a hot summer. Secondly the hallway outside my room was filthy. The rooms opposite are being fully renovated. Reception, hallway and room outside the dining area full of building materials. The staff are helpful and pleasant. I couldn't get wifi to work on my laptop. It worked on my phone. The problem is I paid £139 (july 2025) It isn't a cheap and cheerful experience.

Liked: Location!!! 5 mins from Kings Cross and staff was super friendly.
Disliked: No airconditioning (not good in summer)Breakfast starts at 7:30 not good if you want an early start.Lift was not working because on samefloor as my room, other rooms were under construction so corridor was very dusty.

Disliked: Communication - emails with 1 word responsesPhone calls with empty promisesUnclear terms. No Refund means No Refund, NOT No Change.If you don’t allow Changes the. That should be clearly stated not hidden in the No Refund term.
