Liked: Host was lovely.his cooking was good.
Disliked: Kettle was dirty,dirty buns ,shower only showered one at a time, found out that you only got hot water at certain times .

No frills room.

Liked: The cost was fairly cheap for a room for the night
Disliked: Breakfast for £5, this was a continental one. This was all pre packaged items.No normal restaurant on site, had to go elsewhere for our evening meal.Room has no double glazing, main road outside with vehicles going past all night. Don't expect to get any sleep

Liked: Very good value. Warm with very comfortable bed.
Disliked: Decor a bit shabby.

Good value for the price

Liked: The host was very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was fine. The room was clean but the hotel really needs some maintenance work done. You can definitely hear the road but it didn't really disturb us. I can imagine it would be worse if it was week day traffic.
