A hidden Jewel off the...

Liked: The hotel is very different, more like a boutique hotel. It's never been truer said that you can't judge this book by its cover. This is a hidden Jewel off the beaten path. It was more like home and that the staff was like family and they made us feel very welcome. We will stay here again as we have plans to visit the area again this summer. I wouldn't dream of staying anywhere else now that I know this place exists. For a different lodging experience I highly recommend this this hidden Jewel.
Disliked: The owners are remodeling the exterior of the lodging building and I can't wait to go back in a month or two and see how they have improved things on the outside. The inside is wonderful just like it is!

Way over expected

Liked: Super clean, comfortable, renovated with modern outfit, very quiet and staff is very friendly and helpful, me and my wife run away at least once a month for a private time and this is a great place to feel really good

A Gem in the Making!

Liked: Alex, the owner went above and beyond to make sure we were comfortable. The rooms were exceptionally clean and up to date. The beds were comfortable and we had everything we needed. I like the complimentary drinks and snacks. Breakfast was just right! Alex was willing to do whatever is needed to make your stay pleasant! He is friendly and knows what guests are looking for. We would gladly stay here again!
Disliked: The area is not my favorite, but he is working to complete the entire building and will be amazing when he is done.

Liked: Staff was wonderful, and rooms were clean.
Disliked: The price for the nights stay seemed to be a little high as compared to other hotels of similar offerings that we stayed at the remainder of the week.

Superb

Liked: We booked this place based on previous positive reviews about the staff, specifically Bea, and how customer-focused she is! Bea is real. She was there and made us feel so welcome. She offered drinks and snacks when we arrived and asked us every time we saw her if our accommodations were good and if she could do anything else. It’s your basic motel set up, but was super clean and the bed was very comfortable. The hotel was really close to the cute downtown square and the Old Stone Fort State Archealogical Park. Also, Bea cooked our breakfast made to order when we wanted it. Thank you, Bea (and your son)!
