Real hospitality, warm welcome.

Liked: This hotel is an example of what true hospitality means. The staff do whatever they can to make sure you feel welcome and that you have a great stay. It's not your typical "luxury" hotel, but if you want the true luxury of being treated as a welcome guest, this is the place to be. Unfortunately, I didn't have time to join in the complementary evening drinks, but did get a chance to chat to the staff and hear about their plans. Highly recommend.

Disliked: Older style doors to the parking lot.

Exceptional

This was a perfect option...

Liked: LOCATION. I love the Old Stone Fort archeological site. It is super close and I enjoyed a hike before embarking on the reminder of my trip.

Outstanding and Excellent

Liked: Absolutely outstanding! Friendly and helpful owner/operators who immediately offered us complimentary drinks when we arrived - we chose sparkling water but there was a large variety including tap beer. The room was clean and the bed was super comfortable with fluffy pillows and a super soft blanket! We ordered breakfast the night before and it was prepared for us in the morning at the time of our choosing. I have stayed at some very fancy hotels over the years and this ranks right up there with the best of them for cleanliness, comfort and hospitality. Outstanding place to stay!
Disliked: There is nothing not to like about this exceptional hotel.

Liked: The whole experience exceeded our expectations.The breakfast was wonderful. If I could give it more than ten stars, I would. I highly recommend the stay.
