London hotel

If you get your room...

Liked: Close to Paddington Station
Disliked: Booked London Hotel. Upon arrival we were informed that they booked us elsewhere due to a problem and the other room was an upgrade. We were walked to the Shakespeare Hotel and introduced to the reservation person. Upon departure of the original receptionist we were told that we were being upgraded again to the Dolphin Hotel next door. The hotel did not have power when we checked in and our room had used soap with curlies on it sitting in the sink basin and the water glasses were so dirty they looked like someone used them for toothpaste spit. Also the toilet seat was sitting on the toilet not connected. Good thing we really only needed the room for one night.

Liked: Comfortable beds, rooms were clean, decent for what we needed overall
Disliked: Bathrooms are small.Got moved room after first night new room light didn't work.

Liked: You can definitely do this for a night if you are lost in London in some way. Very pleasant and caring staff.
Disliked: Rooms are very tiny, but it's alright when you just need a bed and a shower.

Disliked: Confusion when I arrived to check in

Liked: The staff are very friendly and helpful. The location is perfect and very central to see all the sites of london. Rooms are very clean. I felt very safe with 24 hour security.
