Comfortable stay for families

Liked: Our stay was pleasant. We booked 2 rooms for 8 persons including 5 adults and 3 childrens. They have got double bed and bunk beds in each room so we were able to sleep comfortably. The hostel has got a fully loaded kitchen, dining which helped us in preparing fresh breakfast every morning and also it has got a lounge where stuff like boards games, piano is available for guests. Jamie the host has been kind enough to us to accommodate each of our request and overall we enjoyed the stay, Regarding location, llangolen is a small town, therefore the location was central

Wonderful Stay

Liked: The hotel is in a superb location close to the centre of the town and all the shops and bars. Parking on a public car park but it is very close and free. The room had an en suite bathroom and the beds were comfortable. Kitchen and lounge downstairs for all guests

Convenient central location for exploring...

Liked: This hostel is in a central location in Llangollen. Right beside the main public car park, close to the bus station and a short walk from the Steam train station! As it only has 8 rooms, it isn't a big noisy hostel. The kitchen facilities were excellent, with all necessary cutlery, dishes, glasses, etc. There was even a supply of tea/ coffee and sugar. Plenty of space to sit in the dining room and some sitting area outside too.
Disliked: I would have preferred to have ensuite facilities but realise that the older layout of this building doesn't allow for this on the top floor at least. Which is why we had two bedrooms although we only used one, not letting this room out to anyone else meant that we weren't sharing the bathroom. So as a family having these two rooms (7 &8) you would share a bathroom on the landing.
