The Spotlight on Linden House Hotel

Stylish, central base near Hyde Park with quick access to London’s music scene

Modernized within a classic London townhouse, Linden House Hotel blends charm and convenience just a short stroll from both Paddington Station and Hyde Park. Located in the heart of Central London, this budget-friendly hotel offers easy access to some of the city's top concert venues and late-night hotspots.

Why Concert-goers love it

Just 984 feet from Paddington Station, getting to and from gigs across the city couldn’t be easier—especially with the Heathrow Express close by for international music fans. The hotel is tucked along a quieter street, so you can enjoy peace after a high-energy show. With 24-hour front desk service, late check-ins after evening events are no problem. And the walk to Oxford Street is just 15 minutes if you want to keep the party going.

Who this Hotel is great for

  • Groups of friends needing affordable, central lodging
  • Solo travelers catching a must-see act
  • Couples turning a concert into a weekend getaway
  • Fans looking for a quiet place to recharge post-show
  • Budget-conscious music lovers who want central access without splurging

Food and Drink Options

While Linden House doesn’t have an on-site restaurant, you’ll find a wide range of international eateries just a short walk away—ideal for late-night bites after a show. Tea and coffee facilities in-room help with that morning-after revival, and with breakfast spots nearby, you won’t go hungry even after a late night.

Nightlife Options

You’re just minutes from the buzzing nightlife of Paddington, Oxford Street, and Kensington. Whether you want a mellow nightcap or to keep dancing, bars, lounges, and late-night pubs are all within walking distance. While there’s no on-site bar, the neighborhood more than makes up for it.

What People Say

Guests love the hotel’s clean and modern rooms, excellent location, and friendly 24-hour staff. Many highlight the easy access to the tube and train lines, making it a favorite for music fans on the move. The updated bathrooms and comfy beds also get frequent praise.

Areas for Improvement

Rooms can be on the smaller side—typical for central London—and there’s no elevator, so pack light if you're heading to an upper floor. Breakfast isn’t included, but nearby cafes offer plenty of tasty alternatives.

The Bottom Line

Linden House Hotel is a smart pick for concert-goers who want a stylish yet affordable stay with unbeatable access to London’s music venues and nightlife.

Not for summer stays.

Very good

Liked: Location.
Disliked: I have no negative view apart from a slight mix up with my daughter's age on their paperwork which resulted in a one bed room instead of a family one but we still managed adequately well.

A room in an old...

Liked: The location was great for sightseeing and walks in Hyde Park. We had a triple room with bathroom, it was clean and we liked the fact that the window was away from the main street. Water pressure in shower was great and the water was nice and hot.
Disliked: The double bed was a bit small - probably about 120cm×190cm? I am 174cm and it was a bit short, my feet were sticking out. It would be great to have air con although the room had a fan. It would be great to have shower caps as the shower was fixed to the top and you'd get your hair wet every time + tricky to clean young kids.
