Room 14.

Liked: The staff were lovely and a 2 minuet walk from Paddington Station. The room was very clean, the shower was great and we had air-conditioning in room 14. Good price for central London. The staff were very friendly and helpful.
Disliked: There were a lot of narrow stairs which didn't bother us at all but could others. The room was very small for 3 guests. Other guests were loud late at night although this wasn't the fault of the hotel.

Excellent location, perfect for those...

Liked: Location was excellent, beautiful neighbourhood, lots of places to eat and close to the wonderful Hyde Park.
Disliked: Very dilapidated, rooms were very basic and judged to be passable regarding cleanliness.

Very pleasantly surprised with this...

Liked: To be so near to Hyde Park for the price we paid was exceptional. The room was spotlessly clean and the shower was very good. We were warmly welcomed too.
Disliked: We stayed in a family room which was small but we've stayed in smaller for a lot more money.

Liked: Nice staff, clean, excellent location.
Disliked: There was no AC and it was hot - middle of July. . Did not realize when I booked, that AC was not advertised. Perhaps my fault for not noticing but at $200 plus a night, I assumed there was AC. Other than being very hot, the small hotel is very nice and the staff very friendly.
