Liked: Location was outstanding.
Disliked: The room did not reflect the website imagery. Poor drainage of both sink and shower. Terrible flushing system with the toilet. TV had to be fixed as there was no signal.The Sofa bed fabric was not very clean. The floor was dirty and the light shades were dusty. In addition, one bed side lamp was not working.We don't believe that the cost of the accommodation reflected the standard of service that we received or the reviews that we read prior to booking.To finish on a positive vibe, the bed was exceptionally comfortable. The towels were changed every day and we also appreciated being able to leave our bags both before checking in and after checking out.

Overall a very nice hotel...

Disliked: There was an air conditioner in the room, a bit too loud. Better to have earplugs with you for better sleep.

Very good

Liked: Good location, very close to the Empire State Building. The rooms have high ceilings and feel more spacious compared to other hotels in New York. The interior is lovely. I have booked a room with breakfast and the first day the food was amazing. There is a menu to choose from and Ali from the restaurant was very kind and friendly. Finally, I appreciated the slightly earlier check-in and the fact that the breakfast runs until 11:00am.
Disliked: Reception team could be nicer. They didn’t do anything wrong but I didn’t feel a warm welcome as in other hotels. Breakfast runs from 7:00am to 11:00am, and the second day of my stay, I arrived at 7:25am. The chef wasn’t there yet, and the staff suggested I come back in 30 min and offered me a pastry. Unfortunately, I was in a rush and couldn’t wait 30 min, so I was disappointed not to receive the full breakfast I had paid for. One staff member eventually made eggs for me, which I appreciated, but I don’t recall being offered a coffee even though it was included. A bit of a bumpy start to the day. Finally, I checked out on Friday and will do another check-in on Saturday as Friday I am staying in another city. The reception team told me I need to pay $10 per luggage for the hotel to keep my stuff overnight. Found it strange as I will be a guest the next day as well and they know it.

Liked: Nothing, pretty much
Disliked: The room: -- was not properly cleaned, I could see a contact lens on the floor from a previous guest by the bed. -- was barely large enough to fit the bed. -- did not have a real window - one that overlooks inside. Depressing room. The hotel and the room were very noisy. Nowhere in the description of the room it said they had a window unit for AC, which was such a loud unit that I could not sleep. The bed frame was a spring frame, one that is from the older days, which again makes noise as you move in it. I was transported back in time, and not in a good way. It was a very rainy period, I asked for an umbrella at the front desk, and they said they only had two, and they were taken. What hotel with 100+ guests only keeps two umbrellas? It is NYC, get some umbrellas. I stayed at 50+ hotels in Manhattan. It is rare for me to say I would not stay at a hotel again, but in this case, I will not stay in this hotel again.

Liked: The location was great, the hotel room was small but clean and comfortable.
Disliked: The bathroom is strange- the shower drain was in the middle of the bathroom (not under the shower head)... and it was a very SLOW drain so every shower we had to wait for the water to drain and the water went all the way to the sink,

Superb

Liked: The hotel staff were really nice and helpful. The rooms were clean and relatively spacious. The bed and pillows were very comfortable. Another advantage is its location, which is cornered by 5th Avenue and Broadway Street, so it's just 5 minutes away from Macy's and 10 minutes to Times Square.
Disliked: The only thing I did not like was the shower curtains, and I hate the way they cling to you when wet....
