Liked: Beautiful location, looked amazing from the outsideLoads of parkingWalks straight from the hotelSome shopsPool was a good lengthSpa area okFood at the Clocktower Bar great, much better than the pub food.
Disliked: Rooms dated, needed a good deep clean, ours smelt of cigarettes possibly coming from the carpet.Another of our parties rooms stank of cigarettes and they had to be moved to another room.Room 79- classed as an ‘executive’ room- think this meant we got 2 robes and slippers, plus access to the poolBathroom, the plug was stuck in the bath, it was eventually sorted after 2 requests but then the plug hole was obviously blocked and you ended up with ankle deep water when showering that took several minutes to drain. The plug handle that twisted was broken so you had to manoeuvre the plug your fingers, it was very hard to do.Flooring in bathroom starting to lift where shower leaks out from under the door- the seal was not attached , which we corrected Mould round the tiles and dirty sink plug hole Only 1 bottle of shampoo and conditioner left in room and not replaced, no body wash or soap provided for 2 peopleOnly 2 bottles of water provided over the 3 nights for 2 people. Fan that I requested was broken, when I returned it to the desk, there were no more , so she suggested I take the broken one back, even tho it sounded like the space shuttle taking off

Disliked: Staff were awful. Location wasn’t what was advertised on their website. Extremely dirty. Would not recommend and as a Director I visit and book lots of accommodation for customers. Absolutely awful place.
