Great hotel bad experience with...

Liked: The rooms were great with interlinking rooms and the hotel had great presentation, the check in staff although efficient upto the job needs to smile and be a little more friendly with better customer service skills.Booked this last minute break due to swimming pool jacuzzi and the gym facilities however didnt get to use the pool as was closed for cleaning, managed to get 15 mins in jacuzzi as people were all waiting and to be fair got out after 15 mins.Then popped out to goto shop and came back to be told last entry to gym was 8.15 I can understand the pool last entry due to changing washing etc, but cannot understand why a planned half hour gym visit would not be allowed at 8.20pm, therefore didnt get to use facilities that was the reason I booked visit and was totally out of my control.Breakfast was good large selection of foods, cereals , fruit etc.
Disliked: That the pool was out of use although when checking in at 5pm was open and told we could use however after going for food and returning at 6.15pm was closed

Was not worth the £178...

Liked: Location and parking
Disliked: The hotel needs some upgrades done. Leather worn out on chairs. Carpets dirty. White bannisters filthy. Room bathroom had yellow scum around the taps and the shower hose needed to be replaced due to chrome worn off and rust.

Liked: The room space was very good, but the facilities leave a lot to be desired and are dirty, the bathroom is moldy, the chairs are dirty, the soap is half used and the bed linen is dirty, it simply isn't worth the price paid...
Disliked: The bathroom and bed linen, pillows, under the bed were dirty, I had to pull the bed to get my hairbrush that fell underneath it was very dirty, we were unable to use the pool, we arrived at 6:39 pm, we checked in, my son was happy that he was going to use the pool, we were informed that he could not, because children on Monday were not allowed, then I asked if I could use it, the employee told me that it was already closed, even though the Boking website said that the pool was open until 8:00 pm... the next day we tried to use the pool again and were informed that the pool was full, a tremendous lack of respect, consideration and empathy.

We really enjoyed our stay...

Liked: Location was great and loved the pool and other facilities in the leisure area.Breakfast was excellent.Prices were fair for food and drinks.
Disliked: The bathroom and bedroom looked a bit tired in places but it was comfortable and well planned. We did not pay for delux suite.

Disliked: Fan wasn't powerful enough so room was still hot
