Poor experience- wouldn’t recommend
Liked: Breakfast was okay!
Disliked: I was unable to gain access to the building as check in closes at 10pm (I arrived at 22:10). There is a night entrance, but this requires a key card. I phoned the emergency telephone number several times but nobody answered. I was stood outside the property for 30 minutes, until another guest arrived and let me in. Upon the automatic check in, the bedding in the room had evidently been cleaned but it was covered in hair, including the pillow case, sheet and duvet! After a check in process of an hour, this was not welcomed! There is no information on the website to state that no staff will be on-site from 10pmI would not recommend or stay at this hotel again

What an unpleasant stay.
Liked: To be honest leaving the hotel. While the hotel is clean, warm and comfortable overall, they really need to get their act together as regards customer service and curiosity to their guests. See next question.
Disliked: The man at reception in the hotel for check-in on the night I arrived, 26.11.2024 (7pm) was incredible rude. I had completed the online check-in option before going to the hotel and when I arrived I presented my phone (indicating check-in name and reservation details) and passport. The man behind the hotel reception desk grunted at me and proceeded to make a funny gesture of playing a guitar while laughing and saying something about me to a group of German guests waiting behind me to check-in. They all laughed and then he abruptly said "name" and I indicate my name, which I said was also on my phone and passport presented to him previously. He gave me my room card without anything further information. It is not acceptable for staff in hotels (particularly at the front/reception desk) to make fun of arriving guests just because the guest does not speak the native language.

Liked: It was just one night staying- the staff was very friendly and welcome. Room very cosy and comfortable. Exelent restaurant!
Disliked: Breakfast could be better, but for us it was quite good
