Staff ok. Place needs a...

Liked: Hotel was in need of refurbishing and the grounds needed attention. Better if hotel had a gym Breakfast average. Limited choice
Disliked: Numerous aspects. Hotel appears in need of refurbishment. Overgrown in areas low maintenance and uncomfortable beds. Old styles and no gym which is odd for aSpa. The tables outside didn’t appear to be cleared. We had a drink before I went to a meeting and returned 5 hours later and cups still on the table. I’d have moved them if I’d known nobody else would have been intending to do so. This is all based on the charge rate.

We will certainly come back...

Liked: The spa was excellent. The range of facilities was well beyond most spas. The outside private relaxation area was especially welcome given we stayed during a heatwave; private and well covered with loungers in a sun trap. Food in Brasserie very good and service attentive.
Disliked: The only slight criticism is the fabulous location could be made even better by a little more attention to the grounds. Garden and furniture a little neglected.

Liked: Great location and lovely area
Disliked: I wouldn’t say this is a 4* hotel and think the price was high for what it was.

A comfortable and enjoyable two...

Liked: Location ,facilities ,breakfasts and friendly staff.
Disliked: Garden maintenance could be improved.Beds and borders adjacent to the property could do with some maintenance.

A great place to stay,...

Liked: The hotel was situated in a beautiful position. The car park was large and the staff were amazing..........the room was very nice.........however, we were not impressed with the Brasserie restaurant. We booked a table there, and after sitting down it took one hour to get a menu and another to get any food. (there was a wedding party, which took preference, I believe)
Disliked: The restaurant service
