Lake Norman Inn and Suitesl is located near Interstate 77 nestled in the heart of NASCAR country. It is just minutes from many racing attractions including the North Carolina Auto Racing Hall of Fame JR Motorsports Kasey Kahne Racing Martin Truex Jr. shop Memory Lane Museum and Raceworld USA. Lowe's Motor Speedway is 20 miles away. Guests can take a drive through the Lazy 5 Ranch exotic animal park discover the outdoors on Lake Norman offering sailing boating fishing water skiing swimming and much more. The area around the lake is nice for hiking sunbathing and picnicking. Numerous shopping centers entertainment venues two large bowling centers (NorthCross Lanes At the Lake and George Pappas' Victory Lanes) golf courses and tennis courts can be found in the surrounding area. A variety of restaurants and cocktail lounges are also nearby including several within walking distance of our hotel. This hotel offers many little extras and amenities including free hot breakfast and free coffee free wireless high-speed Internet access free local calls seasonal outdoor pool and exercise room. Airport transportation to and from the Charlotte Douglas International airport 20 minutes away is available for a charge through a local company. Not happy

Liked: Staff was real nice and concerned the front desk
Disliked: Mold in the ceilings in the shower, trash behind the bed, found a blue capsule pill don't know what it was so the floor must not got vacuumed, hallways were nasty and elevator like it hadn't been vacuumed all day

Liked: Good value for the cost. Decent clean hotel for the money. I'd probably give it another try.
Disliked: Woke up to a woman screaming in the hallway at 5 AM in the morning. Apparently, there can be some sketchy people staying here. She was obviously on drugs.

Overall it’s not a bad...

Liked: Very convenient to many things. Dollar Tree, Golds Gym, Wendy’s all less than 50 yards away. Almost in the same parking lot. 4-5 restaurants less than a half mile from the property.
Disliked: The girl at the front desk wasn’t very friendly. The elevator smelled like weed. The entire floor I was on smelled of weed. The people directly across from me was in and out of there for several hours, very loud. After I came out with a very pissed off look on my face they chilled out a bit.
