Lovely place but with some...

Liked: Excellent room, refurbished and very comfortable. Good food. Freindly and efficient check in and out. Very pretty locale.
Disliked: While some of the staff were excellent, In the main they were not up to the standard of luxury hotel. I had to look for people at one point in order to get a drink. Also there is no going the extra mile. I wanted some simple sandwiches made for an outing the following day, for which I would have paid. I was told this could not be done.

Very relaxing in beautiful surroundings...

Liked: It is a beautiful house and my room and bathroom were very large. My bathroom had a beautiful free-standing bath as well as a very good walk-in shower. My room had windows on 3 sides. 2 sides looked at other parts of the building so I tended to keep the shutters for those closed.What I liked most of all were the wonderful staff - always polite, friendly and helpful. They made it a very relaxing stay.
Disliked: Nothing

Disliked: Seems a little tatty now. At the price we paid would expect turn down service. Didn’t seem to be enough staff. A bit dusty . No make up mirror in bathroom no hooks for towels . No waste bin in bedroom

Beautiful Stay, highly recommend

Liked: Absolutely beautiful, I had taken my mum away for her birthday in one of the family suites. Bathrooms are absolutely luxurious. Rooms are amazing. Breakfast options were phenomenal. We booked the avenue restaurant which has a tasting menu. As expected everything was delicious. We were extremely impressed with the staff. Only issue is it was missing a hair dryer in the room was the only issue.
