Disappointing
Liked: New
Disliked: I stayed at this hotel for four nights. Two of those were weekend nights during which the hotel was packed with a group of teenage girls in town for a sports event. They were very noisy in the hallways late into the night, making it difficult to get any rest. Told the front desk and they said they would take are of it. That did not happen. The other two nights were quieter, but I noticed several unhoused individuals in the lobby. In the breakfast area. At first, I didn’t think much of it until I realized some were staying on my floor, in the rooms next to and across from mine. When I brought it up to the front desk, I was told there were no unhoused guests, which clearly wasn’t true. Come to find out they have a contract to house in-house/homeless people. Fao they flat-out lied to me. Maybe if I knew I would of still stayed but to be dishonest on a simple question was alarming. I was disappointed by the lack of transparency to inform a quest the truth so a guest could make a decision to book or not. This is a newer hotel, and I think guests should be informed if the property is being used for transitional housing. Full disclosure would allow travelers to decide if it’s the right fit for them especially when combined with large, noisy groups.
