Don’t do it! Not as...

Disliked: Honestly this was the worst hotel I’ve ever stayed in. It was disgustingly dirty, broken fixtures and fitting. It was uncomfortable, dingy and I genuinely believe that there are prisons with better rooms than this hotel. Don’t believe the pictures on the website and avoid at all costs.

Liked: The location and we could open our window for fresh air.
Disliked: The room was far less attractive than I expected from the photos. I felt like we were put in the attic. It was small, with very little room for the luggage of two people. Plaster was peeling on the ceiling. One staff member did nothing to welcome us at all on our arrival to London and willingness to answer questions was lacking.

Good stay for a reasonable...

Liked: Very good location, right opposite kings cross station, our room wasn't facing it, but it's still very convenient. The room and the bathroom were clean. The check in and check out process was very quick and easy, there was free WiFi. There are a lot of shops, restaurant and cafes less than a 5 minute walk away, that are open very early so it's easy to get a morning coffee and breakfast run at 7-8 a.m. Will definitely consider staying here again if I need a relatively cheap accommodation and don't want to drag a suitcase around London for a long time when arriving to Euston or Kings Cross.
Disliked: Our window was facing directly into another room, so we couldn't open the curtains for 2 nights because we would just be stating at a family of 5 in the other room. My room key card also randomly stopped working on night 2, so upon returning to the hotel at midnight after a concert I had to go back down to reception to change it, but it was sorted out very quickly so that's very helpful. A very small unimportant issue is there was no ice or a freezer in the hotel or reception, but that's not a big problem at all, I could run to a nearby cafe and just ask for a cup with ice there.

Great as last

Liked: We booked for our daughter and friend as they missed the last train home after a concert and we couldn’t find another room near King’s Cross. The staff were very nice and efficient and was easy to check in as we had booked on line for them. They didn’t have breakfast or anything else as their train was 5.55am.
Disliked: The windows were boarded up and missing??? Although they did feel safe there was a lot of loud music all hours and the walls are paper thin. Saying this it served a purpose at the last minute so was fine.
