Liked: Location opposite Kings Cross station so got back from The London Marathon and straight at the hotel, staff where really friendly, loads of pubs and restaurants around the hotel
Disliked: traffic noise around King’s Cross may put people off but didn’t bother me

Cheap but not cheerful -...

Liked: Air con unit came in handy. Room had a safe for valuables. Location - situated right next door to St Pancras
Disliked: Staff were rude, take out food and wine bottles + glasses left in the reception area and staircase overnight. Floors and room very squeaky so difficult to get sleep when you can hear everyone’s movements. Booked cheap as we were there less than 10 hours but still wasn’t worth it

Great location, adequate for a...

Liked: The staff when we checked in were very nice (although the man when we checked out, was not). The room itself was good. It was clean and adequate. It had a fridge which I was not expecting so that was good. The location is obviously great. Right across from Kings Cross which was the point of booking there.
Disliked: You can store your luggage there before and after check in which is great if you want to go explore the city. However, they do not check who is taking bags out. They given you tags but don't check them so technically anyone could walk in and take your bags.The bed was not very comfortable as it sloped into the middle of the mattress.Some places (like the washroom down stairs) were dirty and quite worn.Still good value for money though because of the location.

Liked: The location
Disliked: The furniture in the room is outdated. There were cracks in the walls, and the floors were scratched/warped. The bathroom sink had a crack, the shower doors did not completely close, and was missing one handle. Also, the ceiling in the shower was peeling, and the shower head did not spray water evenly. Shower floor is scratched. The bathroom door does not close because it is missing the lock. Electrical plugs are not flush against the wall.
