Why Concert-goers love it

Being just a short walk from major transport hubs means you’re never far from your venue—whether it’s a quick tube ride to the O2 Arena or a stroll to a nearby club. Late shows are no problem thanks to round-the-clock front desk service and easy access to night buses and the London Underground. The hotel’s central yet tucked away location also helps keep street noise to a minimum, ideal for winding down after a high-energy night.

Who this Hotel is great for

  • Groups of friends looking for a central crash pad
  • Solo travelers catching a must-see tour
  • Couples on a weekend music getaway
  • Fans who prefer quieter stays after the encore

Food and Drink Options

While the hotel doesn’t have an on-site restaurant or bar, you’re surrounded by a huge variety of dining options—from authentic British pubs to around-the-clock international eats. Many local cafés offer late-night snacks, and breakfast spots nearby open early enough to get you back on your feet after a late-night gig.

Nightlife Options

With King’s Cross and Camden Town nearby, you’ll have no trouble finding post-show drinks or live music. The hotel's central location puts you close to trendy bars, classic pubs, and late-night lounges. Prefer something low-key? There are plenty of cozy spots to sip a local craft beer or cocktail within walking distance.

Very basic but ok as...

Liked: Staff were friendly and helpful. Bed was comfortable. Location was good.
Disliked: Wasn't the cleanest. Facilities were old fashioned. Toilet was dropping all night in one room and seat was broke in another. Room was very small. Some of the stairs to the room were uneven.

Good for one night if...

Liked: Staff at desk were friendly and very kind to my daughter. Perfect location for King’s Cross train station.
Disliked: The bathroom was filthy, the shower desperately needs descaling!Could do with a lick of paint.Wouldn’t recommend staying for more than one night as it’s very cramped.Only had one pillow

Stay Away From This Hotel

Liked: The staff were helpful and friendly
Disliked: Everything apart from staff and location. The bed was hard and uncomfortable. The room was very small and the paint was peeling off the walls and onto us and our belongings. The walls in other areas were damp and mouldy. The ceiling was partly collapsed and mouldy. There was no ac and the room was hot and stuffy. The only window opened onto a court yard and I was afraid to leave it open at night. There was so much noise that went on until 3 or 4 am (not sure as I was so tired by this time) people went up and down the stairs constantly and every sound in other rooms and the hallway could be heard in our room. On reading other reviews I noticed that they always claim they are new owners who are fixing the place up. This same reply has been used since 2016, sorry but this is crap as the rooms don't appear to have had any work done for many many years.

Good

Liked: We booked this hotel because it is close to St Pancras Station, just a 3 minute walk.We arrived early and were allowed to leave our luggage so we could explore the area. Staff were excellent and catered to all our needs. The bed was a small double but comfortable, the shower was good. A great location if catching a train
Disliked: The room and bed are quite small and the decor was a little dated. There was a door to the walled garden. As the window didn't open we had to open the door for fresh air, as this was during the heat wave and no aircon it would have been uncomfortable at night otherwise
