King Oscar Motel Centralia

Great staff; comfortable beds; clean; housekeeping staff does a good job. Good rates. Great overall stay experience - will most definitely stay again. I and my four judges for our club show stayed last weekend. Judges had nothing but nice to say about their stay. Will use for judge's lodging again next year.

Disliked: Needs better coffee, and a bit more selection for breakfast.

Cheap for a reason..

Liked: Good location, close to where we needed to be for our basketball tournament.
Disliked: It wasn't very clean and most of it was under construction. We came in late and it was dark and I couldn't find the check in office (a trailer in the front with very little signage).

Liked: Seemingly homeless people living at the facility and making a lot of noise ALL NIGHT - I even worried about my car being outside . . they were on some balconies or something and loud and jive talking stuff . . How does a Motel allow that and then charge other people a price to stay without advising how it would be to stay there . . . Very poor business practice . . I am in the area off and on and will never stay there again.

no bathtub and bed to...

Liked: had a small range to cook on
Disliked: the bed was too small a twin bed for two people is not big enough,no bat. tub,the old king Oscars had bathtub when I reserved the room it stated a bathtub when I got there they sent me to the other propreoty about mile away when I got there and called my girlfriend told her where I was,the room was new just been remodeled you could smell the fresh paint and there was stuff in the draws still wall plates a outlet,miss.nuts and bolts,very disappointed about bathtub,that's what it stated in the ad,who rents a room with a twin to someone that just told you that my girlfriend was coming down to be with me that night

Liked: I liked it was a low in price
Disliked: They did not have wifi, some of our lights didn't work. The bathtub was still dirty and had water in the tub. I mean it was clean like the floors by the beds but their was damage in the room before we got their. Also the dogs kept barking and the door had about a inch or 2 of light under the doorway. Also very little parking where my room was.

Liked: Nothing
Disliked: Everything. No wifi. A/c didn't work in any of the rooms, so they couldn't move us. Supposed to be a queen size bed, It was a twin. Pool and jacuzzi were closed.

Decent for a place to...

Liked: Friendly staff, decent rates, clean for the most part, but it was a place to sleep.
Disliked: Loud, some of the surroundings seemed a little sketchy , pretty run down.
