Overall, the stay was good...

Liked: The front desk staff is very attentive and displayed great customer service throughout my entire stay.
Disliked: I didn’t like that the location was right in the center of everything. It was far too noisy at night. It made it difficult to get a good night’s sleep. Just to clarify, the noise wasn’t coming from other guests, but from people outside walking up and down the street throughout the night. I also didn’t like the fact that the property doesn’t have a pool.

Overall nice.

Liked: Hotel is nice. It's a bit confusing the layout. The decor is nice. Modern. The pillows are very comfortable, the view is nice. Was close to the stadium which is where I was headed. I was happy to walk to the stadium from the location.
Disliked: Rooms were not as nice as I would hoped for the price. The carpet was dirty as was the floor in the restroom. Carpet next to bed had a large brown stain.

Convenient to our venue price...

Liked: Modern. Easy check-in. Comfortable beds and clean room. Location to our venue and nearby restaurants.
Disliked: The constant noise outside and police sirens. It’s in the heart of town and obviously the area for late night gatherings. A lot of police presence so felt safe but on edge too. Of course this isn’t anything the hotel can manage, but just an observation. Also the noise kept us up till about 2 AM. At that time the restaurants and nearby bars were closed.

Wannabe 5 Hotel Comes with...

Liked: The rooms were exceptional—modern, upscale, and beautifully designed. The front desk staff was fantastic, providing excellent service throughout our stay. Plus, the hotel’s location couldn’t be more convenient.
Disliked: This completely ruined our stay. On Friday night, there was an all-night street party right below our window. The noise from cars, bars, and revving engines—especially on Tryon Street, where every “fast and the furious” wannabe and “South Park”motorcycle rider circled endlessly—was unbearable. Even noise-canceling headphones couldn’t block it out, and this nonsense lasted until 4 AM. When we talked to the front desk, they admitted this happens “every weekend” and that the police won’t regulate. It’s a shame because this is otherwise a great hotel in a prime location—but the loud constant obnoxious street noise makes it feel more like a run-down motel 6 rather than the upscale experience it could have been.
