Beautiful lodge!!

Liked: We really enjoyed our stay. The grounds were beautiful and well kept, the staff was nice, and the lodge was clean. Highly recommend!
Disliked: The restaurant on site had a small menu, and both nights we went they had 3 things sold out. So we didn?t have many options on what to eat

Great time in the Rockies,...

Liked: Location.
Disliked: Dumpy cabin, gross bathroom, dirty carpets in room, musty smell. Mediocre restaurant, was full of mosquitoes often, first dinner I killed at least 10. Oh, and $400/night for 2 people in a small bed. What a joke. Canada's parks have the worst accommodation at ripoff prices. Our Park's infrastructure, management, and prices are ridiculous, I'm a bit embarrassed to bring foreigners here.

Good stay near Johnston Canyon

Liked: Excellent location right next to the Johnston Canyon trail head. Excellent and helpful staff at the front desk.
Disliked: Housekeeping a little shoddy and the cottages could be kept cleaner considering the high rates.

Good

Liked: Fireplace and tub were amazing. Location was top notch and the feel of the place was fantastic.
Disliked: Poor amenities for the cost. SO much potential in this property yet it misses the mark. Restaurant isnt great, cafe is poorly stocked. Can tell that there is little care in the property and the point is to just make money from it.

Superb

Liked: Great location. The oven was out of service and the staff brought us one to use right away. Great distance between Banff and Lake Louise. I love that they do not have cable tv! Better for families who need to put screens down and hang out!
