Great location between Banff and...

Liked: We stayed in Cabin 4, one of the two bedroom cabins, which was perfect for our needs. However, it looked over the parking lot - with mountains in the distance. Most of the cabins were nestled in the woods, but I don't know their capacity. The cabin was rustic, but comfortable and had everything we needed. The gas fireplace was very welcome first thing in the morning. It had an open fire as well, with wood supplied, but we didn't use that. There was a restaurant on site, but we didn't eat there, but the store had great muffins, coffee and a small selection of ice creams. The proximity to the hike to the waterfall was a huge plus. We didn't realize when we booked it that Johnson Canyon was a "must see" in the area. We would definitely stay here again.
Disliked: Our cabin was one of the few that looked over the parking lot.
