Disliked: Maybe the bed was a little uncomfortable, but I’m used to a sleep number bed.

Liked: The best part of my stay: the location downtown and the shower in my room
Disliked: Perhaps the worst lodging experience in recent times. No one at front desk at check-in; absence of a chair in my room to sit; people running the bar could not get the taps to work; and local obnoxious drunks made an unpleasant dining and lodging experience. A ragtag operation.

A very rare historic experience...

Liked: What we loved the most is how friendly all the staff (and also the locals) were and the breakfast buffet was a huge plus for us to help us keep going on during our hikes in Yosemite. Both the hotel and our room was charming, like straight out of a western movie, but with all modern amenities one could need and spotless cleaning. Overall we really enjoyed our stay and Jamestown now has a special place in our hearts :)

Cool Historic hotel right in...

Liked: Breakfast was awesome. Lots of food and very nice service.
Disliked: I wish I’d had a night stand on both sides of the bed instead of one.

We really enjoyed our stay!

Liked: Breakfast was included and it was very generous. The room was very comfortable. My husband can't sleep without a TV so I just added Netflix on his phone so he was fine with that! The staff is beyond friendly and accommodating!
Disliked: There was not much to dislike! I guess the only thing for me were the stairs, because I'm 71, with a bad back. I just took it slow and it ended up being fine. We loved the scenery and having many choices nearby for food, so I can't think of anything else we didn't like!

Liked: We did not eat at the hotel. We did enjoy drinks at the bar and there was a talented local lounge singer performing that night. Our bartender Michelle H was amazing and the other staff were very friendly also.
Disliked: Being a historical building there were no TV's in the rooms, but that was ok. We also didn't know that the bar closed at 9:00pm, as well as most of the town.
