Great stay

Liked: The location was great, right in front of the beach. Also great vibe to meet new people.
Disliked: The room looked a bit old and cramped. Also, when I arrived, I sounded the doorbell multiple times and no one showed up to check me in for quite a while

Recommended. Perfect location

Liked: Great staff, awesome location, easy to meet people
Disliked: Backpacker-style, don't expect much comfort. The young hostel crowd was sometimes a bit intense, mostly the guys, but that's not the hostel's fault.

Would recommend for a solo...

Liked: You could not beat the Location and the vibe as soon as you walk in! You are right on the beach, close to everything that Pacific beach has to offer. This is definitely a hostel environment, so expect the ambiance to be fun, mingle, and laid back. I stayed in a private room and the room was comfortable and spacious.
Disliked: No big deal, but you can tell the bedsheets/towels are a little old, but clean. I stayed downstairs in front of the common area and it was pretty noisy (they offered free earplugs). My only concern was someone was able to open my private room door with their keycard. Would still recommend.

Exceptional

Liked: The space is very organized and clean, there are activities every day, so it's perfect for meeting new people. It also faces the beach, so you can watch an amazing sunset. I had a great experience

Liked: Atmoshphere, location in front of the beach, room, people, everything was perfect !
