Liked: The breakfast was good and filling. However, the hotel stated that the breakfast buffet started at 6:30 a.m., but at that time the food was still being prepared. We were expecting it to be ready to serve, as I had a doctor's appointment at 7:30 a.m.The location is great—close to the bridge and other tourist spots.
Disliked: The staff attention was poor. We booked a room that included a coffee maker (which was a higher price), but it was not available when we arrived. When we called reception to request one, the receptionist told us we either had to go downstairs to switch rooms or wait until 8 a.m. the next morning to have a coffee maker brought to our room. This was inconvenient, as my husband likes to prepare his coffee early in the morning—so we went one day without it.On the first day of cleaning, there was a funky smell in the room, as if a dirty mop or rag had been used. The rooms appear to have had no renovations whatsoever. I had high expectations because I stayed here back in 2017, and it was the best in town. Unfortunately, it seems like nothing has been updated since then—not the restrooms or any area aside from the beds.It would also be helpful if there were specific pool hours for children. During our 4-day stay, we only attempted to use the pool once, but it was impossible due to the large number of children and all the noise and playing. The pool is very small, which makes it difficult for adults to enjoy when it's crowded. Setting specific child-friendly hours would really help.Lastly, I was disappointed when the front door staff told me I needed to pay him separately to take care of my car in the parking lot. I assumed that this was included in the room price. This felt unprofessional and left a bad impression.
