Liked: We stayed for 3 nights in Cody on our way from Denver to Deadwood South Dakota. There was a number of things we wanted to see. The hotel dining area had loads of character but smelled a bit musty. Lots of stuffed animals so could be that .Food was ok and the staff were lovely. Bedroom was clean and comfortable with a good shower.

History

Liked: Fun place to stay. Comfortable once you got to the room.
Disliked: The amount of stairs, no elevator. The tiny bathroom and how close the bed had to be to the bathroom door. It's very tight going in and out of the bathroom. Very minor detail in the big picture, though. Kinda pricey for no real updates.

Beautiful historic rooms.

Liked: The location was perfect for what we wanted. I left the downtown stores and the accessibility to the flavor of Cody. The staff was friendly.
Disliked: My room was very hot at night. The second night I turned on the air conditioner. My stay was in late January early February, a cold time to turn on the air conditioner.

Liked: The bed was very comfortable & the leather recliners were great!
Disliked: It needs to be updated a bit,there were some screws missing & the pins were working out of the doors

Liked: We loved the old style (very functional) fixtures in the room, & the restaurant, food & staff were excellent. Great location with plenty of free parking.
