Affordable, Extended-Stay Comfort Near Pittsburgh's Best Venues

Modern, no-frills, and wallet-friendly, InTown Suites Extended Stay Pittsburgh PA is a practical option for concert-goers who want to stay close to the action without breaking the bank. Located just north of downtown Pittsburgh on McKnight Road, this 2-star hotel is within a short drive of major venues like PNC Park, Heinz Field, and the Andy Warhol Museum. With in-room kitchens and comfy beds, it’s designed for longer stays and easy living between shows.

Why Concert-goers love it

This hotel puts you just 4–5 miles from Pittsburgh’s top music venues, making Uber or Lyft rides fast and affordable. The area is quieter than downtown, so you can actually unwind after the encore. While it’s not a party hotel, its 11:00 AM check-in and check-out means you'll have more flexibility if you're arriving early or leaving late after a big night out.

Who this Hotel is great for

  • Groups of friends who want to save and stay together with kitchen access
  • Solo travelers in town for that one special concert
  • Couples making a weekend out of it without splurging
  • Fans seeking a quiet, no-fuss recovery space after a loud night
  • Budget-conscious music fans who prioritize value

Food and Drink Options

While there’s no on-site restaurant, the in-room kitchens are a major perk for anyone who wants to prep meals or late-night snacks. The area has walkable fast food and casual dining options, and there's a grocery store nearby to stock your fridge. No breakfast service here, but you can DIY your own post-concert brunch.

Nightlife Options

This isn’t the place for on-site nightlife, but you’re just a short drive from Pittsburgh’s downtown bars, lounges, and late-night music spots. After the show, head back to a quiet room where you can recharge in peace.

What People Say

Guests love the spacious rooms, having a full kitchen, and the affordable weekly rates. Many say it's a solid choice for longer stays or affordable short trips close to the city. Travelers mention the easy access to downtown Pittsburgh and friendly staff as standout features.

Areas for Improvement

Some guests mention that the hotel could use a refresh and that amenities are basic—but most agree it gets the job done for the price. Keep in mind there’s no daily housekeeping or 24/7 front desk, so it’s best suited for self-sufficient travelers.

The Bottom Line

If you’re looking for a budget-friendly, quiet place with space to crash and cook between concerts, InTown Suites Extended Stay Pittsburgh PA is a smart and practical choice.

Nice staff, terrible tenants

Liked: Hard to even think of anything besides the staff seemed nice.
Disliked: Where to begin.... Place is basically an apartment complex that also doubles as a hotel. It attracts the type of clientele you assume it does. Loud, obnoxious, and dirty. Plastic mattress wrap underneath the sheets. Upstairs tenant, like a clock, made sure to bang, stomp, and seemingly renovate their room every night from 8PM until 2 or 3AM. Brought this to staff attention, who said they were going to say something to them, but either they didn't or the tenant doesn't care because it was the same thing again that night. Elevators stopped working. If you NEED to stay here, I would suggest only for one night until you can find something better, which would be really anywhere.

Loved the time there, simple,...

Liked: Naobi running the front desk was *incredibly* helpful, staying to help me get checked in when I was running late, answering all sorts of questions with great professionalism, just really making me feel welcome. The room itself was well fitted, spacious, great value for how little you pay, all in all a great place to set up camp as you are fairly central, but not central *enough* to have hellacious traffic.
Disliked: How far you are from even the smallest convenience store, there is no 'quick trips around the corner', you absolutely have to drive somewhere to get anything, which is more a fault on the city planning.
