A good place to stay

Liked: Conveniently located, 5 minute walk to Penn Station and MSG
Disliked: One shower was too cold and the other was hot and I couldn’t get a good control over the water temperature in the shower

Liked: This is probably the most peaceful place to stay in New York City. The staff is very friendly. They offer free breakfast. The rooms are inexpensive yet cozy. If you want to enjoy your stay in NYC without spending too much money, this is the right place.

Liked: Clean, fairly comfortable cubicle and bed. Bathroom was clean. Free breakfast with fruits, bread, cereals and coffee. Polite staff. Very inexpensive for the area!!
Disliked: Since these are small cubicles with an open ceiling, you can hear all the ambient noises including people’s alarms, sounds from the showers, etc.

Comfy, central, value for money

Liked: I loved my stay at this hostel. I arrived at 8 am which was much earlier than check-in time but they let me not only leave my bags but also take a hot shower and eat their delicious complimentary, all day breakfast. The pods were very comfortable. I loved the privacy it gave me unlike sleeping on a bunk in a crowded dormitory. Quiet hours from 8:30 pm to 8 am meant I could have a peaceful sleep without being disturbed by partying teens like in other hostels. The location was amazing. 15 mins walk from The Empire State Building and right next to a subway stop. Cannot ask for a more central place.
Disliked: Disliked nothing.
