Disliked: Cleanliness, noise, staff not interested

Did the job.

Liked: Staff were very friendly and the breakfasts were good and substantial. Location was perfect for us. Parking was a bonus which made life a lot easier. Room was clean and I appreciated the tea making facilities. Not expensive.
Disliked: Bed was too small being only 4'6" wide and also it was very hard. Pillows pretty flat. Weather was cold and there were no extra blankets or pillows in the room - we had to ask for both and they were provided so our second night was much warmer. Our room was a bit cramped and it was two floors up with no lift. The second flight of stairs was very steep. I asked for a room on the first floor but was told there were none available.

Liked: Nice rooms, they have been updated . the bed was comfortable , breakfast was included and was served by a lovely lady . Location was perfect for us and with on site free parking
Disliked: It is over priced ,as is the food in the restaurant . It is not a hotel nor a stand alone restaurant and their prices should reflect this .

Very clean

Liked: The room was exceptionally clean and the bed was really comfy.
Disliked: The check in / check out procedure isn’t made obvious. We had no idea where to check in because there was no obvious signage until we had gone into the restaurant itself. When checking out there was no staff around and we had to get to work so couldn’t hang about in case someone did turn up so just had to leave the key on the front desk.

Disliked: A heating option,even on a mild day, would be nice.The dining experience over breakfast was challenging as there didn’t seem to be any vegan and gluten free options
