Liked: Staff were helpful
Disliked: Pokey bathroom, room smelt of dogs. Very basicLots of steps and stairs to manoeuvre with luggage.

Liked: Every member of staff were lovely, accommodating and incredibly professional. They also looked after my elderly Mum really well. Bed was comfy. Pool was nice and cooling during the heatwave. The music and entertainment was fantastic. Loved the outdoor terrace (wish that it were smoker free).
Disliked: The hotel as a whole is very dated and a bit battered at the edges. Rooms would benefit from investing in a modern Aircon / heating system as they ran out of fans for guests during the heatwave. Food is ok but not mind-blowing.

Liked: Late arrival as communicated and the room in the back of the hotel can be described no better than extremely tired. Dirty carpets and shocking bathroom fixtures have outlived their shelf life but the walk from main hotel to old is terrible. The gym is in disrepair which you have to pass through and carpets are a danger. Absolutely not what we expected and 100% we would have moved or left if we arrived earlier.Breakfast was an improvement but the dark surroundings your seated is n weren't.Absolutely not value for money and no reception staff on departure I can properly understand why.
