Good location, bad internet

Liked: The location was really good - many things (like Fisherman’s Wharf or Chinatown) were within walk distance. The beds were good (for US standards) and there were complementary shampoos etc. in the bathroom. The TV was working smoothly.
Disliked: The rooms were really noisy - you could hear everything from other rooms, talking, walking on the floor. Noise from the street too. It seemed like the whole building was shaking sometimes. The internet connection was almost not working at all. Despite like 4 various networks to connect, none of them worked correctly.

Liked: Everything is brand new at the rooms and super clean

Amazing Value right in the...

Liked: In an amazing location, only about 20 minute walk to fisherman’s wharf and close by to lots of sights in SF! Room size was huge for the price as well and you get a fridge, coffee maker and microwave! We went to Happy Donuts for breakfast, which was literally on the next block and it was amazing - breakfast sandwich & donuts, obviously! Enjoy

Liked: Free parking but it is really tight. The room was clean. I just needed a place to shower and sleep. There was no closet or place to hang anything. I hung them on the shower curtain rod. Other than that good.
Disliked: No clothes rod.

This place has the potential...

Liked: Great location, excellent sized room, decent facilities, and it was very clean.
Disliked: Noisy!I was in a room right on the corner of Van Ness and Broadway, and the traffic noise was horrendous. The Double Glazing needs updating to Triple Glazing, particularly in the rooms on that corner.The other issue came from the room above. It sounded like I had a baby elephant staying in the room above me, and as the floors are uncarpeted, you could hear it whenever they moved the wheeled chair around. Not a good thing at 04:30 in the morning!Another issue is the faux Venetian Blinds. They are made from plastic which has warped or been bent and as such light comes through the gaps, made even worse by the fact that there is a light on the landing right outside the room that I was in. Thankfully a previous guest had shoved a tissue in the Peep-Hole in the door to stop the light coming through that too. What's wrong with curtains?One other thing that rather irked me was that the I had to go to Reception because I couldn't change channels on the TV and had to be shown how to use the Remote Control as it is not like a standard Remote Control and not very intuitive. So some instructions should be provided for that.Finally, the "Super fast Broadband" was terrible. It kept dropping out, which not only made browsing The Web difficult, but affected the reception on the TV.
