Liked: The food was nice and the surrounding area is lovely
Disliked: We booked a double bed but instead got 2 singles pushed together with a zip in the middle, very uncomfortable and disappointing, and the lady on reception when we booked out didn't even ask had we had a nice time so we just left. All in all very disappointed as we have stayed there before and it was much better then.

Liked: As per boxes - it is an excellent place
Disliked: The regional hobby is to scam outsiders. Particularly those of us with southern accents. When caught the usual excuse is "oh, that is just a scally". They tried to catch me but I've been in the area before - so I was alert to it. The couple checking out in front were triple checking their bill as on their last visit two bottles of wine had "been inadvertently added to their bill".

I loved staying in this...

Liked: Fabulous huge room with a beautiful and comfortable four-poster bed, amazing views from the mullioned windows and a gorgeous ensuite bathroom. Really interesting property set in lovely grounds. The receptionist was very friendly and helpful.
