We had a lovely stay...

Liked: The hotel and grounds were beautiful and exactly like we imagined. A great place to hold a murder mystery weekend :) The staff were pleasant.
Disliked: The hotel room as I have come to expect in some places give you the room that the tv doesn't work in and where you are near noisy extractor fans or heating fans. Plus side we weren't on the top floor if you use yours. Most booking .com clients get the the worst rooms for noise or things not working. The cleaners closet next to the bedroom not the best thing to remember after your stay. Breakfast poor sloppy scrambled eggs, herbs in the sausages and no choice if you didn't like them. The toast looked like they forgot to put it in the toaster.

Liked: Breakfast was very good and the waitress that has been there for several years was as friendly and helpful as ever
Disliked: Although the superior rooms are larger we prefer the standard rooms on the upper floors which provide a better view

Liked: Property is beautiful, we attended for a wedding and didn’t stay had to absolutely come back for an overnight stay.
Disliked: As lots of grounds maybe a few outdoor games that would suit the landscape, would also happily do a weekend with my family or pool table.
