More than OK for 1...

Liked: Small but comfortable room with the typical great IBIS beds and fine shower. Friendly staff and with good connection to the A75 motorway. You feel welcome at the check-in. Good value!
Disliked: The space is very small so you must find a way to move in the room. Also a bit old-fashioned. Near to Bourges centre. We book this hotel to be able to enjoy the city centre

Liked: Clean and very convenient for half way travel stop Plenty on off for breakfast even if limits to a small selection. Good parking
Disliked: It was too hot and when you open the window for cool it down the constant noise of the traffic is one thing but other guests in and out, as well and smoking below the window, shouting and talking until 2am without any staff asking them to stop was awful. Our first night was ok and this was a Tuesday night. Our second stay I was a Friday night and was so much busier that the noise meant a sleepless night. Also having no air con or fans available to be able to keep the window shut and the noise out meant there was no choice in the matter. Shame because the location was great and the room perfect for what we needed

Disappointing and uncomfortable.

Liked: Room was a good size and clean.
Disliked: The address is incorrect and takes you to the ibis styles, this is common as the receptionist at ibis styles said she has to redirect people all the time. We were unable to check in as the card machine was broken (another common issue apparently) without payment a key cannot be issued. We returned 3 hours later and still no remedy, so the night porter had to let us into the room but no key was given, she also took a photograph of my bank card on her personal phone and said she would charge the card when the payment system was fixed, that made me very uncomfortable as I take GDPR very seriously, but it was almost midnight and with no other option I had to allow it, now I do not know if I need to cancel my bank card or not as a stranger has my card details on their phone! The room was unbearably hot, and the air conditioning would only blow out hot air, the window could be opened but it was 100ft off the motorway (not ideal) The breakfast was disappointing for the price and eating off of plastic trays was very unusual, we asked for a plate and the staff member simply pointed to a stack of plastic trays and walked away. I understand it is a motorway lay over budget hotel, but even so, the basics can still be better accommodated for.
