Liked: Location was brilliant. Everything is easily accessible. Staff were lovely and it was clean.
Disliked: A little dated. Breakfast wasn't the best, I wouldn't book it as there's lovely cafés just up the street.

Liked: Friendly staff, fabulous location and lovely breakfast.
Disliked: Although the bedding was clean, the carpet was dirty, the chair by the dressing table was filthy and covered in hair and the bin had just been emptied but filthy again- not a game changer but just a little lazy.One member of staff entered our room twice without knocking and we were only there for one night, which was annoying!.

Liked: We liked the location, it was convenient for what we needed it for. The breakfast was good, but was quite cold even when we went at 7:15am and it starts at 7:00am. The man at the reception was great and couldn’t do enough for us! Our check in time was approved for 11-12, but once arriving we were told we couldn’t check in until 2pm. It wasn’t convenient as we could have arranged to arrive later, however, about 15 minutes into walking around the man on the reception called us to say he’d spoken to the owners who were very apologetic and had arranged for our room to be sorted immediately and it would be ready within 20 minutes - and we very much appreciate that being sorted in the end!
Disliked: Once entering the room we noticed marks on the walls and cracks/holes in the door that looks like someone had punched it through. The breakfast was cold even though we went as soon as it started. We only had 1 quite thin pillow each so it was great comfort wise. About 5 minutes after being in the room, we were unpacking and we heard the door open - the cleaner (by the looks of it) just scanned herself into our room without knocking or announcing herself and asked ‘is everything alright for you?’ And usually it would be nice that someone checked in, but we had no idea someone was coming in - we thought someone was coming into the wrong room! I could have been undressed or anything, we didn’t appreciate that unfortunately. I did not feel the room was worth £203 for the night.

Liked: Front of house staff was fantastic. The lemonade was a great welcome on a hot day.
Disliked: It was a little warm however we had a fan.

Liked: The mirror in the bathroom was good for getting ready. Nice free still lemonade in the reception.
Disliked: Dirty towels, dirty sheets, rubbish under the bed (moved it a mere two inches to find something I’d dropped). The price for the quality of the room simply does not match (we paid £500+ for two nights). The entire place was just outdated. Only serving breakfast from 7am-9am is silly. No directions given by reception as to where to even find the breakfast so didn’t bother since we were already so unimpressed with the room.
