Hyatt Regency Mission Bay Spa And Marina

I could not have been more underwhelmed. The room was a joke. I had a Marina view suite and between the trash in the toilet, torn wallpaper, peeling paint, dirty carpet, stained sheets, and general dust and dirt everywhere I wanted to leave as soon as I got there. The amenities listed on the website need to be requested. It seems that a "do not disturb" sign to put on the door also needs to be requested, along with a blanket. I've stayed at roadside Motel 6's for 1/3 the price and had a better, cleaner stay. The topper was in the morning when a staff member was banging on the door repeatedly, and when I answered he wanted to know what I wanted for breakfast from room service. I hadn't requested room service by the way. I would advise staying away - far away from this dump.

Disliked: Room was filthy; decor was worn; banging on the door early in the morning.

Only complaint was the noisy wake up call at 8:30 am. We were on vacation, so actually wanted to sleep in! They started up a LOUD machine to clean the walkways, and ran it for over an hour. It sounded like they were drilling through the cement right outside our door.

Liked: Staff very friendly and helpful.
Disliked: Morning noise.

Liked: Tower room with view of marina very nice. Pool area equally enjoyable. Staff friendly and helpful.
Disliked: Parking difficulty at self-parking lot. Hotel key would not work gate. Cost for parking was excessive.

A true representation of Southern...

Liked: On Mission Bay and next to Mission Beach. The rooms have great views of the marina and bay.
Disliked: Nothing

not worth the price way...

Liked: Marina view was partial marina with the view of the hotel parking and the freeway so not entirely marina view. Sadly kinda a let down and not really what we wanted. Room was load because it was close to the freeway / street.
Disliked: RED MARLIN TRASH - BREAKFAST NOT GOOD - honestly dont pay extra for the breakfast its not worth it one bit.

Disliked: There was a time after issue, they cut off the water very long time. We asked for water but they didn’t bring all night. They didn’t clean the room. I requested from front desk + left a note. When we came back it wasn’t clean still. We asked for towel but they didn’t bring it and we waited one hour in the midnight for them. We called 2 times and they promised to bring, but nothing. No water, no towel, room was messy. Only thing is they apologize every time but never fixes the issue. Just stay away from this hotel as much as you can!!!

Disliked: I didn’t like the bathroom. I feel like it needs to be renovated the toilet kept getting backed up and the shower tub is chipping. So I thought that was kinda of gross otherwise it was an okay stay!
