Hyatt Regency Mission Bay Spa And Marina

I could not have been more underwhelmed. The room was a joke. I had a Marina view suite and between the trash in the toilet, torn wallpaper, peeling paint, dirty carpet, stained sheets, and general dust and dirt everywhere I wanted to leave as soon as I got there. The amenities listed on the website need to be requested. It seems that a "do not disturb" sign to put on the door also needs to be requested, along with a blanket. I've stayed at roadside Motel 6's for 1/3 the price and had a better, cleaner stay. The topper was in the morning when a staff member was banging on the door repeatedly, and when I answered he wanted to know what I wanted for breakfast from room service. I hadn't requested room service by the way. I would advise staying away - far away from this dump.

Only complaint was the noisy wake up call at 8:30 am. We were on vacation, so actually wanted to sleep in! They started up a LOUD machine to clean the walkways, and ran it for over an hour. It sounded like they were drilling through the cement right outside our door.

Disliked: I think there should be a certain floor level that you call ocean view, we got a room on the 5th floor and you can beryl see the ocean, but the staff made my stay better by giving me a room on the 16th floor, and that view was what I call ocean view.

Disliked: Room cleanliness could have been better. We found a dead insect and a woman’s bra pad in the room upon arrival, which was quite unpleasant. Additionally, the room lacked some basic amenities such as slippers, toothbrush and toothpaste, a minibar, and a heel pulleralso Parking was very expensive!

Disliked: When I reserved our room I paid for 2 beds and we got a couch with one queen! This was extremely disappointing as my 18 yr old had to sleep on a couch for 3 nights and I paid for 2 queen beds. If the room I reserved wasn’t close to the other family rooms I should’ve been contacted directly without my reservation being changed!
