With a flexible check-in from 15:00 and a generous check-out at 12:00, it’s perfect for catching up on sleep after a late gig. Food and Drink Options

The Hyatt Regency Birmingham delivers on dining with the Aria Restaurant offering elegant evening meals and classic afternoon tea under a glass atrium. For something more laid-back, the Gentleman & Scholar Pub serves hearty bar snacks and a strong cocktail list — perfect for a pre- or post-concert bite. While there’s no 24/7 room service noted, the hotel’s central location means plenty of walkable late-night eateries are just around the corner. Club-level guests enjoy exclusive access to the Regency Club Lounge with complimentary drinks, canapés, and a continental breakfast — ideal for late risers.

Nightlife Options

Not only is the hotel steps from Birmingham’s most iconic concert halls, it's also surrounded by bars, pubs, and lounges for keeping the night going. The on-site Gentleman & Scholar Pub is a cozy option for a quieter drink, while the city’s bustling nightlife scene is just a short walk away.

What People Say

Guests rave about the incredible location, spacious rooms with floor-to-ceiling city views, and the quality of the spa facilities. Many reviewers highlight the ease of walking to events and the helpful, friendly staff. The elegant atmosphere and clean, modern rooms frequently earn high marks, especially from couples and solo concert-goers.

Areas for Improvement

While the location is unbeatable, a few guests mention that the decor could use a refresh in some areas. Additionally, the parking can be pricey and fills up quickly — something to keep in mind if you’re driving in for a show.

The Bottom Line

If you're heading to Birmingham for a concert, the Hyatt Regency Birmingham offers the perfect mix of comfort, convenience, and post-show relaxation — all in an unbeatable location.

Allan H, Billingborough, visiting Utilita Arena Birmingham Sat, 18 May 2024

We stayed for one night as we attended the Take That concert, and I chose that hotel because it was very close to the Arena and easy to get to from the railway station.

Liked: We stayed for one night only. It was very nice, and close to the Utilita Arena. The room was large and the receptionist gave us a room with the canal view.
Disliked: The one thing that I did find irritating was the fact that we had to pay for breakfast. The hotel was not cheap in the first place.

Good central location,clean and professional...

Liked: Large choice of excellent food at breakfast but tables being sprayed on table right next to us( person width) and other tables being prepared for later, boards being placed on top and cloths ironed.Spray more issue -? spray onto table adjacent?lands on our meal, smell and taste. Better to spray onto cloth, away from customer still eating
Disliked: As above

Liked: The pool facilities, especially the plunge pool option. beautiful reception, friendly staff and comfortable rooms
Disliked: The only negative I can think of was the description of my dessert, it was listed as a chocolate mousse, but it wasn’t, was a hard block of chocolate , still tasty but couldnt eat it as was expecting a light mousse as described
