Loved our room and the hotel staff were very friendly. Food was very good!

Disliked: Room was a little dirty - a granola bar on the floor, but overall it was clean and accommodating.

When you pay for a room you expect to have electricity and hot water. The hotel for some reason had neither starting sometime after midnight. There were no emergency lights in the rooms so we had to use our phones for light and I personally don't care for freezing cold showers. So we left with no showers and I could not put any makeup on. When we asked if we would be compensated in some way for the inconvenience we were told - well you purchased the room from a third party so probably not but we will contact you. I gave them 2 weeks and have heard nothing.

Liked: The location.
Disliked: Sometime during the night the electricity went out. We had no lights or hot water. When we presented at the desk we were told they really couldn't do anything about it. I asked if they shouldn't comp our room and was told they would contact me. Two weeks later and I have heard nothing.

Liked: Very nice room. Loved the view. Great staff and great hotel. Close to Sokol and right in the middle of Old Market.
Disliked: TV remote is tricky; pool was closed.

I have no problem recommending the place - nice stay, not a bad price and close to many nice places. Good shuttle service.

Liked: Free breakfast was very good. Had a decent slice of Cheese Cake for $4.50. Comfortable; very clean; nice building and close to a lot of nice shops and dining establishments. Right in Old Town Omaha. We took the shuttle to and from the Ringo Starr All Starr Band concert which was FANTASTIC, seeing a Beatle! I am 64 and my wife says she still needs me and will still feed me. We loved the room and for the convenience the price was worth it.
Disliked: I had parked our van in the hotel ramp parking, $10. Did not move it until we attempted to leave. The pass key the clerk gave me did not let us out. My wife ran back to the lobby and we tried again. Did not work again. She went back again, finally a worker came and let us out. I did go back and ask for a refund on the $10.

Bad management

Liked: LocationThe fact they serve breakfast was good, but see my notes below for more info on that They had a gym, but see my notes below on this as well
Disliked: Front desk staff ( we were there for a week), generally speaking was poor, unattentive, and not helpful, and should not be in their jobs. Had an “I don’t give a damn” attitude when you asked a question.Kitchen staff seems to be very efficient putting out breakfast (really loud radio blaring from kitchen), although please note if you’re going to put out a big jar of fruit for the yogurt you should make sure that it’s not frozen solid first .The rooms were marginally clean . The bathtubs are a lawsuit waiting to happen, unbelievably slippery when you step into it. I can’t imagine an older person surviving that experience for long. The hotel needs to put those nonstick slip guards on the bottom of the bathtub.Room cleaning consist of making your bed and emptying garbage maybe. Nothing beyond that; nothing was vacuumed, floors were not mopped or sanitized, sinks and countertops were not wiped down, etc.. Shower curtains don’t close all the way and water drips all over the floor …that’s just an engineering issue …which brings me to the next subject. The first room we were put in the toilet was running nonstop and the bathtub did not drain. We called it in and we told the engineering is on their way over; two hours later we received a phone call saying engineering isn’t coming at all that day. There’s many engineering things throughout the hotel that need to be done. Gym doesn’t have any water , no towels to use and all the sanitizer dispensers were empty every day we were there.Whoever owns this property is clearly not paying attention or doesn’t care.
