Great value and excellent breakfast

Liked: As anyone who has stayed here will tell you, don't be put off by the outside! Once you walk through the door, it's a completely different experience. Staff are excellent, a real plus for this hotel, the room was a good size and very clean (we paid a little extra for a balcony overlooking the golf course) and we slept very well. Breakfast was fantastic - a good continental spread plus a hot breakfast cooked to order. Best value for money stay we have had for a while. Will be back!

Kerb appeal needs to improve...

Liked: The food was excellent and the staff were friendly and helpful
Disliked: We did not like the kerb appeal. There are areas that need painting which are low level so would be easy to do. The austere look of the building could be softened by planting some trees and having large tubs with flowers in them and some shrubs in the grass areas removing the large patch of stinging nettles at the front . Round the back again tubs with flowers and shrubs.On the balcony 2 outdoor chairs and a small table would have been nice.
